2009 Nissan GT-R to make Australian Debut

Nissan will showcase a Japan-spec model, revealing no clues as to what changes - if any - Australian buyers can expect from the local model when it arrives here early next year.

Its 3.8-litre twin turbo V6 “VR38″ engine features plasma-sprayed bores and a special twin-turbo exhaust manifold system, producing 353kW at 6400rpm and 588Nm from 3200 to 5200rpm.

The Melbourne Motor Show opens from 5pm on February 29.
Australia gets to see the car officially.
