GReddy was first to market with their big turbo kit for the Nissan GT-R in late 2009, that has pushed the VR38DETT over 700 hp,and to 9 second quarter mile times. The twin TD06-20G kit, replaced the stock turbochargers and integrated manifolds, with tubular manifolds, and new turbochargers. Tubular manifolds have been popular for years in aftermarket turbo systems. They are fairly quick to make up, generally lighter, and lest costly to prototype than cast manifolds. Over the last few years, the aftermarket has been stepping up to the durability of cast manifolds. Greddy has released some pictures of the prototypes for their new cast stainless steel manifolds for the TD06 kit, with the offer of free replacement for owners of the kits, that purchased them from Authorized GReddy dealers in the US.
