The fuel pump looks like it has a small reservoir for fuel in it.

1/4 on the gage is about 6 1/4 gallons. No information on the capacity of the fuel pump yet.

Seems about right. I got lost in upstate NY this past weekend, and couldn't find a gas station. I got down to a hair less than 1/4 tank and the on-screen read out gave me between 65-70 miles until empty.
