The first production Nissan GT-R Spec V stopped by Mines recently. A customer that purchased the car stopped by to show Niikura the car.
Mines is planning to produce some parts for the Spec V. Like any car, anything good can be made better. Mines is good at making fast, subtle cars.

I wish I was there.
Are you thinking about getting an R35 GT-R yet ?
I will have one, but not yet. I want to wait for everything to come out and buy the best one. I don't want the base regular model, I want the most special one from the factory. The SpecV is getting close, hopefully Nismo will make another 400R/Z tune type model. Your idea of legalizing a LHD SpecV is tempting, but even though I totally trust you, I am not going thru that nightmare again.
The chance of actually seeing a Spec V in the US is really low. Nissan Japan does not trust the US dealers to work on the brakes and other systems on the car. Its unlikely that you will see it here anytime soon.
Yeah I know the SpecV would probably never be sold in the U.S. offically. Actually I hope it never gets here because I don't want to pay $170k for one but if it is here, I would want one. I imagine I would buy a regular one and then put all the SpecV parts on it, it is not that many specific parts anyway, I mainly just want the NCCB and the Recaros. I hate the SpecV wheels, they are ugly. I just want to wait til all the parts to come out first, both OEM and aftermarket. It is my toy car, I am in no rush. I am enjoying everything unfolding in front of me.
Kinda like RB motoring putting all the 34 stuff in the 32. I got what I need for now, the plate "CBA R35" :)
When I said the SpecV is getting close, I didn't mean it is getting close to coming to the U.S. I meant it is getting close to what I want in my GTR.
