2013 One Lap of America : The GT-R Edition

TopSpeed OLOA winning R35 GT-R from 2011 and 2012

One of my favorite grassroots events is coming up May 4- May 11, the Brock Yates One Lap of America. Starting at Tire Rack in Indiana, the group of One Lappers travels 3,380 miles over the course of the 7 days.

Schedule

Last year Nissan GT-R's came 1,2,3,7,and 8 out of the top 10 cars overall, with Leh Keen and Doug Wilks taking the top spot.

This year there should be six or seven Nissan GT-R's competing.

TSM has a new car for 2013, a red black edition. Red we all know is faster, so not sure if anyone is going to have enough to take down this back to back to back combination. Although its only back to back in GT-R, unless they win again this year, then it would be back to back to back, but counting the Porsche it would be back to back to back to back.

It doesn't list a car for Speedconcepts. I know they were working on another car- a 55 Chevy, but I guess we will see at the start of the One Lap if its the Chevy or the Nissan GT-R that took 2nd overall last year.
