Everywhere you go, men and women gawp. In red, it hurts your eyes, colour exploding everywhere, from its fat rear and muscular haunches to its broad snout and gaping mouth.
It eats road and air and you have to squeeze it along Britain's narrow roads, all the while wishing you were actually on the fearsome Nürburgring circuit in Germany, where the GT-R holds the lap record.
There were little moments of satisfaction along the way: the thumbs up and questions from passers-by, the neat nudge of the flappy paddles to select one of the six gears from the dual-clutch transmission, the surprisingly cavernous boot, the digital display showing throttle and brake use, the endless stream of power at motorway speeds but it feels too wide, and the ride way too hard, to use every day. More's the pity.

It was raining lightly but provided a chance for the RAR to maintain close enough to overtake at turn 9 initially than at turn 11 again. There is no better fun than driving in wet condition in a 4 wheel drive!!

Five cars with a total of 1993 hp and 31 cylinders. An impressive number, without the problems could still increase. But in this Test Track is not the pure in heart performance. There is much more about different approaches in Sportwagenbau - from only 860 kilos heavy Lotus Exige Cup 260 to bear the heavy BMW M6 with 507 hp and Competition package.
The two stars in the starting field but the new Nissan GT-R with Biturbo and all-wheel drive and the Porsche 911 GT3 established with rear wheel drive and rear engine. In addition there is the new Ford Focus RS, the 305 hp at the top of the sport compact stands. His performance, he brings only the front wheels on the race track. Completely hopeless? By no means: For all tests, the RS with its performance and driving dynamics enthusiasm

Typical track days are filled with dozens of cars, lots of irritating traffic and short sessions. Not this one. No less than 21 GT-Rs tackled the challenging full course, including the world-famous uphill essess that have vexed even the most seasoned professional race car drivers.

Geek and Nissan Strong. So here we are. I believe that the hardcore are still out there, I believe that your editorial needs are not anywhere close to being filled by the current publications on the shelves at the newsstands or on low signal to noise ratio internet user group forums. We are not corporate, we are independents, we are lean mean and nimble, responsive to your interests.
If you are reading this, I believe you miss SCC. Well, I am here, Dave Coleman is here, as well as a bunch of other equally hardcore and capable car freaks and nerds.

Ferrari Enzo vs Nissan GT-R at Nurburgring
This is one of the coolest things I've made. The GT-R is an awesome car and the Jada 1:18 diecast model represents the car very well. The car is highly detailed with an opening hood, doors and trunk. The best part is I have integrated a brand new Seagate 500 GB (thats gigs, not megs) hard drive in the car. Its currently the largest storage size, 2.5 inch hard drive made. It connects to your computer by USB 2.0 in the back of the car where the license plate goes. Its super fast and super cool. The drive is not visible and has not made a noticeable appearance change in the interior of the car. Its comes with a high speed 6 ft USB cable. As far as I know, this is the first ever hard drive/car made and its an awesome one!!!

| From 2009 Nissan GT-R |
Topping the "most expensive to insure" list is the Nissan GT-R, which Nissan bills as a "multi performance supercar" that delivers fantasy driving. Its average annual premium is $2,533. Compare that price to the lowest-premium vehicle, the Hyundai Santa Fe at $832, and you can see how your car choice can deliver a surprising insurance bill. The full press release after the jump.
The GT-R's supercharged engine helped drive it to the top of the list. It's a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged 24-valve V6 with 485 horsepower. Compare that to the Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6, with a horsepower of 271. Or take the Smart Fortwo, the smallest car available and one of the least expensive to insure, which has 71 horsepower.
Owners of the GT-R buy it for power and speed, and their driving habits are often reflected in frequent and expensive insurance claims.
GT-R owners who are young with less-than-spotless driving records could easily see their annual car insurance premiums zoom to several thousand dollars.
Sports cars dominate the "most expensive" roster, along with theft favorites like the Cadillac Escalade.

If low premiums are more your speed, the "least expensive" list contains a good selection of SUVs, minivans and passenger cars. Low insurance rates tend to reflect a vehicle's safety because drivers of those models have submitted fewer and less-expensive insurance claims.

STILLEN is proud to offer the premier exhaust system for the 2009 Nissan GT-R. After many different styles and months of development Steve Millen and the engineers at STILLEN have come up with an exhaust system that offers increased performance, race-car sounds, unmatched quality and ‘work of art’ appearance.
This exhaust system is constructed out of high luster polished 304 Stainless Steel. During the production process the rear exhaust components are polished five times to ensure a brilliant finish and to make sure that every part of the exhaust exudes excellence.
To ensure superior quality the exhaust is TIG welded by hand and the weld ‘burns’ are left to maintain the race car heritage and look of the Nissan GT-R.
The exhaust has been tested and tuned to offer superior performance and sound while offering a reasonable price. This exhaust comes with a lifetime warranty and is supported by years of racing experience from the experts at STILLEN.
