4.4 Liter vs 3.8 Liter AMS Alpha 12

4.4L vs 3.8L AMS Alpha 10
AMS has just released some information on a 4.4 liter VR38 engine vs a 3.8 liter VR38 engine.  There is no replacement for displacement as can been seen in all the area under the curve that is gained with the larger engine. About 50 peak horsepower, and 140 ft-lbs of torque.

Going from a 3.8 to a 4.4 on this setup HP and TQ just shot up everywhere. Peak torque went up by 140 ft lbs but as illustrated by the blue area it carries a ton more tq all the way throughout the power band.

HP got a healthy bump too with over 100hp more in almost all areas in the midrange and tapering off to about 50 more HP near redline.
Some guys like to do it with a 3.8 some like to do it with a 4.3. AMS shows us what they can do with 4.4 liters.
