SP Engineering has installed another Greddy turbo kit on a customers R35 GT-R, and had some impressive results. 700 wheel horsepower on 91 octane fuel.

After the 91 octane runs, it was time to step up the octane and run the car on 109 octane and it did 749 awhp at 1.6 bar of boost.
Then the fuel was switched out again, to my favorite big turbo, big boost fuel – C16. 117 octane leaded race gas and the car laid down 775 awhp. This is now one of the most powerful, if not “the” most powerful R35 GT-R in the world.

Wow... nice... Haven't really seen too many modded R35 GTR thou... most of them recieved either the COBB tuning reflash and/or HKS GT570/600 tune up kit. Nothing really with a turbo upgrade. How does it response to heat? I mean I trust(no pun intended) Greddy can reliably putting down such numbers but what about the GR6 tranny? seen quite a few stock GTR ran a few hot laps on trackdays then the "Tranny overheat" light comes on... then would just sends the car to limp mode. Any fix for that soon?? Perhaps Transmission oil cooler? Heavier duty gear oil? Or even heavier duty clutch plates (ie. MCR currently developing or offering upgrades out now??)
