Its bound to happen. Fast car at the Nurburgring, somehow finds something solid. According to this post and pictures from Motor Authority, a test car crashed at the Schwalbenschwanz. It looks like there was a driver, and passenger in the car, so it probably was more of trying out new settings vs an all out timed run.

While running some hot laps on the German circuit late yesterday, the driver of the GT-R lost control of the car when coming into a corner with too much speed. After running off the track, at an area known as the Schwalbenschwanz, the car eventually crashed into a barrier, causing the damage seen on its side.
