This is why you can run a GT-R rear wheel drive on a dyno. With no pressure to the clutch pack, the chain that drives the front wheels does not move . Or you take out the front propshaft and no longer drive the front wheels. . This is for R32,R33,R34 GT-R, but the R35 system is similar. It is actuated by a solenoid rather than hydraulic pressure propshaft and there is no longer any drive to the front wheels.
