2011 Nissan GT-R - 9.92 Video with LC3 - 2009 GTR with LC4

A few weeks back, I posted up some information on John Shepherd's Nissan GTR from Sheptrans who was the first to 10's with his 2011 and now is as far as I know, first into the 9's with a 2011.
The R35 GTR is equipped with the AMS Alpha 9 package, runs on E85, and even more impressively is doing it on the all season Dunlop radials. He is using the ProEFI to control the engine, and did some experimenting with it to get the car off the line harder. His best 60 foot, on the all seasons, was a 1.52.

 60 foot - 1.69
 1/8th mile - 6.50 at 115.85 mph
 1/4 mile - 9.923 at 144.8 mph

One more video, Cobb has been experimenting with installing the 2012 Nissan GT-R launch control in earlier cars.  In this video - Godzilla2009's Nissan GT-R is on a ProEFI, and building a little boost on the line, this is the backfire you can hear. Then it is launching with the 4000 rpms of LC4, but it is traction limited by the drag strip it is on. Next, it seems like the earlier cars, an ATTESA controller to put a little more torque to the front wheels might be in order.  However, like the early cars, there is a limit. Above that limit, front axles, and diffs start to come apart.  Check out the video below.
