Structural rigidity at the rear is improved as a running change to all GT-Rs concurrent with the launch of the cars bound for the U.S. According to Nissan senior project engineer Bruce Robinson, this change improved steering feel and allowed the spring rates to be backed off just a bit, improving ride quality slightly.
